Older examples of Traditional Internal Lime Plastering
Before and Afters photos
Cottage at Wilton Nr Marlborough
The property had been through a variety of alterations including concrete breeze blocks low down which the client felt had best be retained and needed a creative remodelling to blend in to the cottages other period features.

Clenche Farmhouse
This is an old farmhouse fireplace that had sand and cement and Gypsum plaster on it when I started work in the ground floor. Stripping this off revealed the very old and already damaged brick and stones that were past exposing as they were. Through careful sprayed layering of porous lime plaster and pointing tools I was able to recreate and maintain the basic shapes of these old original bricks and stones that would have been virtually impossible by conventional plastering methods.
Glyn House, Wishford
The internal walls had suffered many years of Cement and modern plasters that had to be removed before work could begin on the old flint and cob walls. I applied new cob and several inches of porous lime plaster to bring the walls back to level again before the final layers of lime plaster could be applied and traditional features reintroduced such as the chamfered edges and splayed window reveals.
